Alford was born December 20, 1924, in Porum, Oklahoma. Al Married Doris Hays, March 10, 1945, in Eufaula, Oklahoma. They lived in Oklahoma City, then later moved his family to the Bakersfield, California area, where he was an oil field worker for forty years. Employed by Drilling & Production, Gary Drilling, Melton Drilling, Golden State Drilling and various other drilling companies as Drilling Superintendent Tool Pusher before retiring and moving to Oklahoma, then Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Damion Eaton, three brothers, and one sister. Survivors include his wife, Doris Eaton of Priest River, Idaho; son, Duane Eaton and wife Beth of Bakersfield, CA; daughter, Evelyn Andreoli and husband, Charles of Ridgecrest, CA; daughter, Janet Smith/Ronald Freeze of Prague, OK; daughter, Kathy Ann Johnson and husband, Dan of Priest River, ID; sister, Margaret Robison of Bakersfield, CA; two brothers, Herman Eaton of Choctaw, OK, and James Eaton, Oklahoma City, OK; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grand-children; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
