All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Greenlawn Mortuary FH--Bakersfield CA Hensen, Billie Faye 1916 - 2005 Billie Faye Hensen Services: Fri., Nov. 18, 10:00 a.m. Catholic services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for Billie Faye Hensen, 89, who passed away November 14, 2005. Father Ricardo Magdaleno will officiate. Mrs. Hensen was born on July 26, 1916, in Pierce, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County for 69 years. She was a homemaker for 57 years, however after taking journalism and professional writing classes at Bakersfield College she wrote and published a book called People of No Moment, in 1980. This book was based on her family heritage. Mrs. Hensen was preceded in death by husband, Arthur C. Hensen in 1996; one grandchild, Dana Hilderbrand and son-in-law, Ralph Cerdo. She is survived by daughters, Mary Hilderbrand and husband, Danny of Bakersfield, Teresa Cerda of Fresno and Barbara Kuhs and husband, Larry of Sacramento; sons, Jim Hensen and wife, Lynn and Tom Hensen, all of Dolan Springs, Arizona; nine grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; sisters, Hattie Shields and husband, Fred, Polly Mommer and husband, Chuck, all of Lake Eufala, Oklahoma and Katie Kapple and husband, Wayne of Garden Grove, CA; and brother, Hugh Rankin of Redlands, CA. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Silvercrest Manor Staff.
