She was born in Wewoka, OK, and graduated from Ferriday Louisiana High School. After graduation she attended Louisiana State University where she pledged Alpha Chi Omega. She was a member of The Bath Church, United Church of Christ, Junior Women's Civic Club, Women's City Club, and a volunteer for the Akron Art Museum. Patsy enjoyed snow skiing, tennis, golf, playing bridge and hiking in the Metro parks. She also loved traveling and did a lot of it. Preceding Patsy in death were her mother Elizabeth (Houston) Lackey, father Elbert "Doc" Lackey, son Jeffrey Jones, and niece Richelle Parris. Survivors include her loving husband Lowell Jones of the home; daughters Jennifer and husband Les Foss of Asheville, NC, and Julianne and husband Tom Chambers of Macedonia; grandchildren Aubrey, Matthew and Emily; twin sister Peggy and husband Elmer Blum of Katy, TX; nephew Matthew and wife Kim Parris; grand nephews Brandon and Cameron; grand nieces Candice and Jada; and many other loving relatives and friends. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 11:00 a. m. in the Hitchita-Lackey Cemetery, Hitchita. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a. m. Saturday, November 11, 2006 in The Bath Church, United Church of Christ in Akron, OH. Memorials may be made to The Bath Church, United Church of Christ, 3980 W. Bath Rd., Akron, OK 44333, or the Akron Art Museum, 70 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44308. Arrangements are under the direction of Hampton Mortuary, 211 W.
