"Cap" King Arthur C. "Cap" King 86, a resident of Tulsa, died in Tulsa on Wednesday, November 1, 2006. He was born march 16, 1920 to Isaac Jasper "Jack" King and Myrtle Stevens King at Hitchita, Oklahoma. Art graduated High School at Eram, Oklahoma and enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served his time in the Aleutian Islands. He went to California after the service and lived in Santa Barbara, then Ventura until he returned to Tulsa in 1988. He was of the Christian faith, was good to his fellowman and was very courageous through his battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Merlin, Glen and Raymond; and a sister, Edith, all of the Okmulgee/Morris area. A sister, Eva, died at a very Young age. He is survived by several nieces and nepews. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday at the McClendon-Winters Chapel. Rev. Nathan Mattox will officiate.
