Mooneyham, 85, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 1996. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Green, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Lane Memorial Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Mooneyham was born in Eufaula, Okla. He had been a resident of Moore County since 1936 and a resident of Sunray since 1970. He retired as a foreman for Diamond Shamrock in 1976 after 37 years of service. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church and had been a song leader there for many years. He married Princess Oxford in 1937 at Dumas. Survivors include his wife; a son, Col. John Mooneyham of Barnesville, Ga.; a daughter, Paula Shiek of Enid, Okla.; two sisters, Pauline Moore and Frankie Klock, both of Dumas; a brother, Lloyd Mooneyham of Ardmore, Okla.; and five grandchildren. The family will be at 305 E. 4th, and requests memorials be to the youth group at Bible Baptist Church, Box 570, Sunray, Texas 79086.
