Doris Mae Russ

PANHANDLE - Doris Mae "Doree" Russ, 75, of Eufaula, Okla., a former 
Panhandle resident, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Methodist Church of Panhandle 
with the Rev. Les Hall and the Rev. Doug Harvey assisting. Burial will be 
in Panhandle City Cemetery by Gregg Funeral Home of Eufaula.

Mrs. Russ was born in Lockwood Corners, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a 
retired secretary. About 18 months ago she moved from Panhandle to 
Eufaula. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Panhandle.

Her first husband, James Harold Hayes, died in 1956. Later that year she 
married Dellis Russ at Tucumcari, N.M. He also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Keith Hayes of Tucumcari and Gerald Hayes of 
Sahuarita, Ariz.; a daughter, Beverly Bichsel of Checotah, Okla.; a 
stepson, Mike Russ of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Sue Martin of Claude; a 
brother, Lloyd Hare of Panhandle; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-
grandchildren.
