Rhoden Stubblefield 1921-2006 Inez Stubblefield was called to her heavenly home on October 18, 2006. Inez was born on December 5, 1921 to Rube Dean and Stella Jane Pipkins at Eufaula, Oklahoma. Inez married Otis Rhoden on July 9, 1938 and of this union there were three sons and a daughter. After the death of Otis Sr. in 1966, she married A.C. Stubblefield on September 7, 1979; A.C. had two daughters from a previous marriage. A devoted wife and mother, Inez dedicated her life to providing a warm, loving home and serving others. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Muskogee for many years. Inez is now reunited with her parents; husbands; eldest son, Otis, Jr.; her infant daughter; a grandson, Darren Rhoden; brothers, Jim Pipkins, Dyke Pipkins, Wayne Pipkins and a sister, Pauline Millsap. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by her surviving sons, Jessie and wife Fay Rhoden of Midwest City, Robert and wife Evelyn Rhoden of Muskogee; daughter-in-law Shirley Rhoden of Nederland, TX; step daughters, Joetta Misterick of New Baden, TX. and Jan Fredrick of Owasso; brothers, Bud Pipkins of Elmira, OR.; Harold Pipkins of Garden Valley, CA.; Clyde Pipkins of Bakersfield, CA.; Warren Pipkins of Las Vegas, NV.; and Jay Pipkins of Pittsburg, TX.; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and numerous extended family members and friends. Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, October 23, 2006 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tom Shelton and Reverend Tom Gragg officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation may be given to the American Cancer Society or charity of choice.
