She was born Thursday, January 5, 1933 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Gilbert and Senora (Simmons) Lasley. She was a member of the Wekiwa Baptist Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, grandson, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include: her husband, Eugene Thomas of the home; four children: Elizabeth Thomas and Eugene Thomas, Jr. both of Okmulgee; Cindy Thomas-Roberson and husband, Don of Pasadena, TX and Gilbert Thomas and wife, Kippy of Oklee, MN; one brother: Monroe Lasley and wife, Louina of Kansas City, MO; one step-brother: Thompson Gouge, two step-sisters: Missy Mitchell and Wynetta Gouge; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2006 at the Weogufkee Indian Baptist Church in Hanna, Oklahoma with Pastor Richard Carr officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Weogufkee Cemetery under the direction of Gary Kelley of Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Billy James (B.J.)
