He was born June 7, 1916 in Eufaula to Alex and Rachel (Willingham) Wacoche. Johnson served our country in the United States Navy. He retired as a nursery man. Johnson loved watching Sequoyah High School sports for many years. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Rachel Wacoche; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; an infant granddaughter; a great granddaughter, Kimberly Sands and 2 infant great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Katie Wacoche; 6 sons: Watie “Chebon” Wacoche and wife, Margie, Ben Wacoche and wife, Clarissa, Allen Wacoche, Isaac Wacoche and wife, Brenda, Chuck Wacoche and wife, Juanita, and Bear Wacoche and wife, Allene; 6 daughters: Nancy J. Lopez, Bonnie Two Shields, Lou Martin, Helen Wilder and husband, Deanie, Lisa Thompson and husband, Eddie, and Joni Wacoche and companion, David Manus; 41 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and numerous extended family and friends. Service will be 2:30 PM, Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Cedar Tree Tabernacle with Pastor July Tecumseh and Pastor Pat Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Towie Cemetery. Pallbearers include Johnson Wacoche, III, Joe Two Shields, Johnny Ray Nunnely, Billy Wacoche, Robert Sanders and Butch Francis. Honorary Pallbearers include Robert Wacoche, Tracy Wacoche, Stacy Wacoche, Jason Wilder, Coby Thompson, Eddie Thompson, Deanie Wilder, Jeffrey Wacoche, Watt Flute and Ronald Holden.
