JAMES HENRY, born at Lawrenceburg, Ind., June 22, 1814. Commanded a brigade in Mexican war. Elected Lieutenant-Governor of Indiana 1849, and to Congress 1853. Went to Kansas, and elected U.S. Senator 1861. During the Civil war he served as brigadier-general of volunteers. Died at Leavenworth, Kansas, July 11, 1866.
