ISAAC S., born in Oswego, New York in 1832. Graduated at Hobart College, Geneva, studied law, being admitted to the Bar at the age of twenty-three. Upon the outbreak of the War of the Rebellion he volunteered in the Third New York Regiment, and soon rose to the command of the One Hundred and Ninth Regiment.
