L. SMITH breathed his last…. Mr. Smith was born in North Carolina 65 years ago and he moved to Buckhorn 15 years ago. He had been an alderman in this city for the past 10 years… His wife died some three years ago, but he left five children, G. E., F. L. and D.J. SMITH, MRS. MATTIE JONES and MRS. MARY BURNETT to mourn his loss. He was a member of the M. E. Church. He was buried at the Buckhorn Cemetery Tuesday afternoon, the services conducted by REV. HAMILTON.
