C. MORGAN Dead From Dougherty last Thursday evening, Murray County lost one of its best citizens, W. C. MORGAN. He had been in bad health for quite a while and only recently went to Mexico in hopes of finding relief, but his physicians gave him no encouragement and advised him to come home. He leaves three small children, his mother and father, brothers and sisters to mourn his loss. His wife preceded him last February which makes it indeed sad for the little children left without mother or father. The Democrat extends its sincere condolences to the relatives of deceased in their sad bereavement. Local and Personal WILL DAVIS of Hickory was here Tuesday. MISS KATHERINE PATTON is visiting in Ardmore. L. F. OWEN of Nebo was here Friday. H. B. SPEARMAN of Shawnee was here for a few days. W. O. KENNEDY of Oklahoma City was here. C. C. SMITH of Nebo was here last week. B. L. FRAWLEY, a prominent banker of Alva, is visiting in the city. MRS. BEN DOUGHERTY and sons of Muskogee are visiting friends. MISS KATE ALLEN of Gainesville, Texas is the guest of her uncle, ED. F. MILLER. MISS VANESSA KITE is enjoying a vacation from her duties as secretary of the Northwestern Normal at Alva. ARTHUR MANNING and family of Caddo are here for a visit. Mr. Manning is connected with a bank at Caddo. J. W. BOSTICK of Olathe, Kansas, a former citizen of Sulphur, was here visiting friends. J. F. SCHENCK left Friday for Dallas at which place he leaves for Washington City to enter the hospital service. He has just completed his first enlistment in the U. S.
