Mr. and Mrs. JOHN BOATRIGHT left Monday for Lexington near where they will make their future home. J. J. DABBS was a business visitor to points in the northern part of the territory. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. FLOYD of Hickory were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. CUNNINGHAM this week. MISS RUBY RENIRO has opened a subscription school on the west side and has about 25 pupils enrolled. Mr. and Mrs. WILSON MORGAN of Mill Creek spent Sunday here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. WILLIAMS, Mrs. WARD, we understand, has leased one of the stone buildings on north side and with her orchestra, will give weekly dances. Mr. and Mrs. IRA M. ROBERTS of Pauls Valley were the guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. ROBERTS, several days this week. E. W. TARKINGTON of Norman and MISS ALLIE ROBINSON of Sulphur were married Monday evening at the home of the bride's parents, REV. R. W CUMMINS officiating. D. R. THOMPSON, the large agent for the Frisco, has completed a neat four room cottage on the west side and he and his estimable wife are now at home to their friends. C. H.HAWKINS of Chelsea, past deputy Masonic grand master of the Indian Territory, delivered two interesting lectures on Masonry at the Methodist Church Monday and Thursday. C. C. CLOTHIER of the Capital City Business College at Guthrie was a caller at the Journal office Friday and made a contribution whereby his institution will received publicity in this part of the country. WLATER WILLIAMS returned from his hunt in the Kiamichi Mountains. R. B. PARKS and CHEADLE CAVINESS, who accompanied him, went on to points in Arkansas to visit relatives there. HARRIS B. WEBSTER came Tuesday morning from Ada. His many friends will be glad to learn that he has decided to move back to this town. He has accepted a position with the First State Bank as bookkeeper. M. M.
