DABBS, four lots Hunting Party Returns The party which left here January 1 for a hunt I the Kiamichi Mountains has returned. On last Friday, J. D. KIRBY, J. M. CAMPBEL and ROY OAKES came with a big buck which they distributed among their friends. On Tuesday, DR. WALL came in and yesterday the remainder, R.A .WILEY, ORA WILLIAMS and E. V. FRANCIS LEFLORE of Fort Smith is the guest of H. G. BEAN. J. B. MOSELY came over from Hickory on business. GOVERNOR GUY attended court in Ardmore this week. A union Sunday School will be organized at the Indian School House Sunday. CHARLES WARD of Ennis, Texas is visiting his sister, Mrs. E. L. NEWBLOCK. MISS REBECKAH MORGAN of Davis is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. WALTER WILLIAMS. J. D. WILEY of Ladonia, Texas is the guest of his brothers, D. W. WILEY and R. A. WILEY. Mr. and Mrs. W. S DERRICK of Madill were the guests of their daughter, Mrs. C. J. WEBSTER. J. S. PHILLIPS of Dallas came in Wednesday and expects to make Sulphur his home. J. W. DABBS returned from a visit with his son, J. L. DABBS, at Muskogee. W. Y. WILEY was here from Madill Sunday to see his wife who is a guest at the home of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. A. V. PONDER. W. A LEE of Blackwell takes the only method of keeping posted on the progress in Sulphur by subscribing to the Journal. Services at the Methodist church next Sunday. J. W. BROOKS, pastor. G. H. SCHWIENING is in charge of the tin shop at the Couch Hardware store and would be pleased to meet his many friends and old customers there. A change has been made in the dry goods firm on the north side, Mr. SHELTON retiring, his interests having been purchased by Mr. ALEXANDER and Mr. HOBGOOD. W. W. BROWN of Hickory was a visitor here Monday. Mr. Brown was until recently associated with the Indian Trading co. at that place but will in a few days open a grocery store. A. R. SERVEN of the law firm MCGOWAN & SERVE who secured to the people of Sulphur the payment for lots taken in the reservation, is here on business connected with the payment. C. M. FOSTER of St. Louis has purchased an interest in the west side grocery business with R. H. BARKER. Both young gentlemen are hustlers and we predict for them success. J. B. DICKINSON came in morning from Muskogee. He recently purchased the LONG residence on the north side and will reside there to supervise the operations of the California Chickasaw Oil Co. J. H. WRIGHT of Sulphur, who is in the city, says the people there are overjoyed because of the fact that the payment will begin in a few days.
