H. JAYNE living between Davis and Sulphur sold out his farming interests in Murray County and moved to Noel, Missouri. MISSES MARJORIE and MILDRED WHITE, who have been attending the Women's College at Chickasha, spent the holidays with their parents Mr. and Mrs. C. G. WHITE. SERGT. LUDIE KINNEY has recently arrived on board one of the hospital ships at Newport, recovering from his wounds. Sergt. Kinney spent much of his time in Ardmore and Sulphur before entering the service. He has been gassed once and wounded once. J. D. RAMSE is the author of a fine plan to provide re-employment for the returning soldier boys and is making preparatory plans to put the same into execution… LIEUT. H. C. BAILEY arrived last week from Palo Alto, California with his family. DR. BAILEY has been discharged full from the army and will re- engage in his practice. MISS RUTH MOORE is spending the holidays with her parents at Meeker. MISS FLORENCE NELSON who is attending S.M.U. at Dallas is visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. B. NELSON. W. A. MAXEY is here this week from Burkburnett oil fields to spend the holiday with his family. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. BUCHANAN living near Wynnewood were Sulphur visitors. Memorial services will be held at the Vinita Ave. M. E. Church Sunday for CASSIE H. COLE, who lost his life in France. The pastor REV. W. GILLIAM will deliver the sermon as the young soldier was a member of his church…. Mr. and Mrs. CLAUDE MASTERS of Sapulpa are visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. J. MASTERS. DR. R. S ROSS and wife who are now located in Oklahoma City spent the holidays with friends here. MISS MATTIE MAE COLE, assistant post master, spent the holidays visiting her parents at Durant. EMERSON RILEY arrived home discharged from service. He is a member of the firm RILEY Brothers Transfer Co. of this city and one of the first volunteers from Sulphur His brother CARL who volunteered at the same time is still in the service but is expecting his discharge in the near future. PRIVATE FRANK ORR arrived home with a full and honorable discharge from the service. PRVIATE JAMES NOWELS is at home with a full discharge from the service. MRS. PAULINE GALESON of Ardmore spent the holidays here. JOHN W. SCARBOROUGH of Madill is a business visitor here. MISS B. P. DESKINS spent the holidays here.
