L. TOWNSLEY. MISSES HAZEL FIELDING and INEZ MERRILL visited friends in Davis. PRIVATE WORTH HILL returned to his camp Thursday after spending Christmas day with his mother MRS. J. E. BAILEY. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. COBB and JOHN PARKER attended the Baptist Association at Overbrook. P. C. HOLDSCLAW went to Lindsay on business. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. CHANEY went to Oklahoma City Thursday to visit their son R. O. CHANEY and wife until New Years. PRIVATE VERNON FIELDING was home from the University during the holidays visiting his parents, Judge and Mrs. H. W. FIELDING. FORREST JENNINGS was here from San Antonio was here from San Antonio Aero Field, to spend Christmas with his father and sisters. M. S. RAWLINGS, ex-sheriff of Murray County, is now on the Okmulgee police force, having been recently appointed. J. M. COLLINS, justice of the peace for Sulphur, who has been confined to his room for the past month on account of a stroke of apoplexy, was able to come down to the city hall for the first time since he was stricken. Cases in the court have been looked after by JUDGE J. F. COPPIE/COPPLE, justice of the peace for Ward Two. W. W. BENN, prominent farmer from Nebo, was in Nebo reporting on the Red Cross work in his district. LON POLK, who has a ranch in northern Oklahoma, came down Christmas to spend the holidays with his family. L. F. OWENS, prominent citizen of Nebo, was in Sulphur on business. MRS. PORTER STOVALL, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. BLAND, returned home to Marietta. W. L. SHIPMAN, who is engaged in the oil business at Duncan and Comanche, spent Christmas holidays with his family here. R. A. BAIRD of Wilson came to spend the holidays with wife and daughter. Attorney RALPH RAWLINGS went to Oklahoma City. J. W. YOW returned Thursday from Willis where he has been on business matters. HOWARD and HARRY DOUGLAS spent Christmas with their mother, MRS. DOUGLAS of this city. Both young men have been in the service. Howard has been discharged and is making in his home in Oklahoma where he has his former position while Harry is still in the service and was home on furlough. DR. W. H. POWELL went to Hickory Friday to visit relatives. MISS PEARL FOX left Friday for a visit with relatives at Dodd City, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. HARRY MONTGOMERY returned to Pauls Valley after spending a few days here. He was recently discharged from the service. MISS ELVIS PORTER of Henrietta spent Christmas holidays with friends here, returning home Friday. Dr. and Mrs. J. W. GRAY and little daughter of Marietta spent the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. W. D BIGGERSTAFF, returning home Friday. MISS EVAN VANCE, county clerk, visited in Noble Friday and Saturday. HUGH HAWLINGS of Okmulgee spent the holidays with relatives here. JOHN RYAN of the U.S. Navy is spending the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H.
