The three H's -- Health, Happiness and Hilarity, with your weeds cut. R. T. SHEEGOG purchased the bowling alley from W. L. JOHNSON and was moving it to the 'old post office building.' Mayor J. R. CLEMMONS called a mass meeting of the citizens of Davis for the purpose of organizing a civic league. The object of the civic league was 'to set out shade trees and plant flowers and to keep the town as far as possible in good sanitary condition by keeping the weeds cut down and the town cleaned of rubbish.'
