J. RANKINS of Wayne visited his sister, MRS. W. T. MARTIN last week. Mr. and Mrs. FRANK MONORE of Oklahoma City have been visiting his sister, MRS. RILLA RUSSELL. MISSES ETHEL MARTIN and CLEO EDWARDS spent Sunday with their friend PEARL BEARDEN. The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. ROBERT EDWARDS is on the sick list this week. MRS. BUD MARTIN was the dinner guest of MRS. M. L. EVANS Sunday. MISS JOSEY COPPS was the Saturday guest of MISS LILLIE JETER. PROF. WALKER's brother of Pauls valley visited the Oak Ridge school Friday and played ball with the children. M. L. EVANS is attending the Holiness camp meeting at Sulphur this week. MRS. BUD GARRETT and MRS. HARLEY GRIFFIN spent Thursday with MRS. RILLA RUSSELL. Mr. and Mrs. GEORGE JAMES and MRS. TOM HARMON were the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. MARTIN Sunday. MRS. KATIE HARMON and MRS. BUCK COPPS spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. HENRY COPPS. Mr. and Mrs. MELVIN MOGG spent Monday night with Mr. and Mrs. BUD MARTIN. Smythe News A large crowd attended singing at MR. SMITH's Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. BOB JONES of Eldorado were the weekend guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. MAL WILLIS. WILLARD WARDEN spent last week in Milburn and Durant visiting friends. R. T. RAMSEY and family visited friends and relatives at Sunshine. MISS EMMA WILLIS spent Sunday night with her aunt, MRS. LON WILLIS of Davis. BILL LAMBERT was the dinner guest of MARVIN WISHARD Sunday. NINA PENNER is visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. JOHN DUGGER. Mr. and Mrs. JESS THOMAS and family attended the preaching at Sulphur Sunday night. MISS VERA NIXON visited friends at Rock Creek Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. CLAUD WILLIS are visiting relatives and friends at Lexington. MISS VELMA SIMS visited her aunt, MRS. JESS THOMAS. MRS. B. W. REA and family spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. MAL WILLIS. Mr. and Mrs. LON WILLIS spent Sunday with the family of MAL WILLIS./ Crusher Plant at Sulphur Completed The Continental Asphalt and Petroleum Company, with a big plant at Dougherty, and now mining the asphalt mines just south of town, have completed a big crushing plant on the Frisco tracks, adjoining the old fire hall… V. V.
