The Davis News published this information on
Wednesday, February 2, 2005:

"100 YEARS AGO:  M. Schiff moved to the building next to Z. T. Cooper and 
Son's store. Prince Bros. moved to the pool hall where Schiff was, and H. 
C. Draughon's was going to use the place occupied by the pool hall.

Hennepin Oil and Mineral Co. organized.  It was composed of Oklahoma City 
capitalists, who leased 8-10 thousand acres of land west of Davis."
