Anderson Services for Lola R. Anderson, 97, Houston, Texas will be held at the Union Church of Cupertino, California at 11 am Saturday, June 4, 2005. Interment was at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills Cemetery in Los Angles, California. She was born in Pottawatomie County, Indian Territory on May 29, 1907. She was the daughter of Frank and Ethel Richard who resided in Sulphur, and the granddaughter of Benjamin M. and Lucinda Emmaline Green, also of Sulphur. Her late brother, Wayne Richard, was also a longtime Oklahoma and Sulphur resident. She was a cousin of Buel and Helen Green, and Mace Williams and Carl Williams, all of whom were local Sulphur business people. She moved to Colorado with her family to ranch and met and married her late husband, Lincoln H. Anderson in 1927. She retired from Lockheed Aircraft Corporation in 1971 in Burbank, California. At age 80, she married longtime friend, Hugh Phillips, and moved to Cupertino, California. Mr. Phillips died in 2000 and she moved to Houston. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Richard H. Anderson and Michelle Beale, Houston; a granddaughter, Karen Anderson, also of Houston, and grandson, David Anderson and his wife, Pellie of San Rafael, California; niece Dorothy Hampton and her husband, C.L., Ardmore, a niece, Norma Grantham and her husband, Preston, Springfield, Mo., and three great grandchildren, Michael, Jordan and Kyle.
