Eddie Malphrus and Rev. Willard McCartney, Jr., officiating. Interment was in Wolf Cemetery, Seminole with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born November 18, 1921 in Ravia to Dan York and Dollie Fagan York, she died Wednesday, Jan. 26 in Sulphur. She married Vernon Wayne Baker on July 24, 1942 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1999. She grew up in this area, graduating from Byng High School in 1939. She lived several years in Yampa, Colorado before coming to Sulphur. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Sulphur. Surviving are two sons and their wives, Dan Arthur and Dusty Lynn Baker, Sulphur and Jeffrey Wayne and Deborah Baker, Greenbrier, Ark.; five grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
