Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment will be Dougherty Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born September 26, 1946 in Dougherty to Oliver Leroy Atchley and Janetta Irene Haney Atchley, she died Saturday, June 11 in Ardmore. She married Jerry Don Bumpass on December 18, 1964 in Sulphur. She grew up in Dougherty and attended elementary school there. In 1964 she graduated from Sulphur High School and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a Brownie and Cub Scout Pack Leader, devoted housewife and mother. She attended Faith Center Church. Surviving are her husband, Jerry, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry John and Tiffany Bumpass, Sulphur; a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Tracy Sanders, Ardmore; her mother, Irene Atchley, Sulphur; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Cy Doggett, Ardmore and one grandchild, Alyssa Renee' Bumpass, Sulphur. She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Juanita Christine Shepard; two brothers, Charles Leroy Atchley and Jimmy Leon Atchley. Pallbearers were Bill Walker, Douglas Akers, Jerry Mann, Jerry Cain, Jr., Sonny Hale and Maxce Phillips.
