Bob Moody officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born February 16, 1911 in Cushing to Enoch Leander Brown and Nancy Anna Allison Brown, he died Monday, Feb. 23 in Edmond. He married Hazel Inez Hensley Brown on May 23, 1935 in Sulphur. He moved to Sulphur in 1917 and graduated from OSD in 1933. He was owner and operator of Brown's Dairy Farm with his brother, Tince Brown. He was a member of the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association, the Oklahoma Dairymen's Association and the Oklahoma Association for the Deaf where he was the past State Businessman of the Year. He was also a member of the Sulphur Deaf Club and he attended Sulphur United Methodist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Kenneth Brown; brothers Tince and Lacy Brown and three sisters, Ethel Hicks, Hazel Green and Losson Ward. We will miss his smile, the twinkle in his eye and his always positive outlook on life. His passions were his family, his farm, and the Oklahoma School for the Deaf. We rejoice that he has experienced the ultimate healing and is now in the presence of the Love that heals. He is survived by his wife, Inez, of Edmond; a daughter and son-in-law, Melva and Wayne Davis, Edmond; a sister, Esther Grigsby, Kansas City, Kan.; four grandchildren, Barry and Lisa Brown, Pueblo, Colo., Carmen and Tracy Hancuff, Edmond, Heather and Charlie Summers, Sulphur and Blake Davis, Edmond and five great grandchildren, Hailey, Isabella, Hensley, Payte and Seth.
