Brown Funeral services for William E. Brown, 88, Davis were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 23, with Rev. Randy Chapman officiating. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery with Hale's Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born June 11, 1917 in Bogata, Texas to Alfred and Beulah Brown, he died Sunday, Aug. 21 in Sulphur. He was preceded in death by his parents; three, Leon, Fred and Jack Brown. He married Eula M. Aaron in Stanton, Texas on July 15, 1950. He was a retired employee of the Oklahoma Resource Center as well as Halliburton Services. He enjoyed hunting and had a passion for the outdoors. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Davis. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Brown had moved to Davis several years ago from Stratford. He is survived by his wife, Eula, of the home; a daughter, Wanda Wilson and husband, Buck; two grandchildren, Kim Murray and husband, John, and Tim Wilson, all of Davis; and four great grandchildren, Julie, Brad, Taylor and Jordon; two great-great grandchildren; Josie and Jake; one brother, Frank Brown, Odessa, Texas and one sister, Margie Helen Kentwarthy, Tulsa. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Murray County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/murray/murray.htm
