Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memory Gardens with the Rev. F.M. Byford, Senior Adult Minister of Paramount Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Brown was born in Hickory, Okla. She moved to the Lubbock area when she was 12 and in 1929, graduated from Liberty High School. She retired from sales for Hemphill-Wells and was a member of the Southcrest Baptist Church in Lubbock. She moved to Amarillo in 1996. She married Algie Walter Brown in 1933 at Clovis, N.M. He died in 1954. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Tow and Barbara Hilliard, both of Amarillo; two brothers, Weldon Lemon and Lynn Lemon, both of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice; or Jolly Elders, Southcrest Baptist Church, 3801 S. Loop 289, Lubbock, TX 79423.
