James Swain, Scott Brinson and John Krogh officiating. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A past president of the Sulphur Kiwanis Club and the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Brinson, 79, died Wednesday, Dec. 7 in Sulphur. He was born May 30, 1926 in Shawnee to Hugh Edward Brinson and Grace Strief Brinson. He grew up in Holdenville where he graduated from high school and then graduated from the University of Oklahoma. He married Claudell Williams on March 20, 1951 in Sulphur. The couple moved to Sulphur in 1955. Surviving are his wife, Claudell, of the home; one daughter, Kim Woodard, Edmond; two sons, Kris Brinson, Sulphur and Scott Brinson, Edmond; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
