Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment was in Drake Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born July 5, 1920 in Sweetwater, Texas to Tommy Caldwell and Willie Mae Shockley Caldwell, she died Wednesday, March 30 in Ardmore. She married Clifford Brewer on September 15, 1951 in Ada. A member of the Central Baptist Church, she was a retired sales clerk. She moved to this area as a child and attended Nebo School. She worked at Ben Franklin and Hicks Service in Sulphur. Surviving are her husband, Clifford, of the home; two daughters, Virginia Howard, Ardmore and Marlin Smith, Sulphur; one son, Von Brewer, Sulphur; a stepson, Kenneth R. Brewer, Wynnewood; two sisters, Vivian Baker, Helena, Mont. and Mary Hardoin, Sulphur; four brothers, Von Caldwell, Verdie Caldwell and Tommy Caldwell, Jr., all of Sulphur and Vernon Caldwell, Culbertson, Mont.; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
