Cagle Funeral services for longtime resident Linnie M. Cagle, 82, of Davis were July 16 at First Baptist Church, with Pastor James Densman officiating. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery. She died July 13, 2003, at Burford Manor Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 9, 1920, in Sunshine Community, northeast of Davis, to Marion A. and Florence (Ringer) Garren. She was a lifetime resident of Murray County and spent the past 58 years residing east of Davis. She married Delbert Lee Cagle on March 3, 1937. Mrs. Cagle was a member of the First Baptist Church since July 3, 1938, and a former member of Rebecca Lodge, Eastern Star and Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Rosalie Cagle, and a sister, Laoma Grider. She is survived by: her husband; two sons, Gene of Denton, Texas, and Kenneth of Harriet, Ark.; a daughter, Imogene Nichols of Hartville, Mo.; a brother, Marvin Garren of Commerce, Texas; 13 grandchildren, and 38 great- grandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandsons.
