Barry Clagg and Rev. Eddie Malphrus officiating. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born April 24, 1914 in Waxahachie, Texas to Major Adams and Carrie Hodges Adams, she died Saturday, Aug. 20 in Sulphur. She married Malcolm A. Clagg on December 7, 1930 at Banner. He preceded her in death on August 27, 1972. She lived in the Banner-Lindsay area until 1970 when she moved to Moore. She came to Sulphur in 1998. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Malcolm A. Clagg, Jr., four sisters, Clara Eastwood, Beulah Clagg, Francis Childress and Vinnie Hessenflo; two grandchildren, Ronnie and Linda Smith. She is survived by three daughters, Fay and husband, Loyd Hill, Muskogee, Joy Thomason, Del City and Geneva Nicholson, Virginia; one son Major and wife, Sondra Clagg, Sulphur; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
