Carl Whitfield officiating. Services will be directed by Knight- Swearingen Funeral Home, Maud. Mr. Campbell was born on May 27, 1931 in Pampa, Texas to Earnest Melvin and Susan Lois (Brooks) Campbell. He died July 6, 2003 at Ponca City. Sonny graduated from Oklahoma School for the Deaf then moved back to Maud where he worked as a presser in the dry cleaning business until he retired in 1991. He was affiliated with St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Maud, and was active in the Maud Round-up Club. He is survived by one son, Richard Campbell, Ponca City; two granddaughters; two brothers, Charles Campbell, Burbank and Joe Campbell, Little Rock, Ark.
