Interment was in Sandy Baptist Cemetery with Krien Funeral Home, Sulphur, in charge of arrangements. Born May 26, 1938 in Wilburton to Jack Henderson Cravatt and Ada Catherine (Foraker) Cravatt, he died Monday, April 10 in Bedford, Texas. He grew up in Sulphur and later attended Carter Seminary. He was baptized at Sandy Creek near Sandy Baptist Church in Sulphur. He graduated from Dale High School in 1959 and moved to Dallas in 1965 to attend a business school. At the time of his death, he was employed at Dave's Auto Repair in Irving, Texas. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Cravatt and Norman Cravatt; his parents and a daughter, Imogene Barragan. Surviving are his wife, Shanna Dee Cravatt and their son, "Chabon" Kenneth Henderson, of the home; three sons, Frank Cravatt, Lyndel Cravatt and Gene Cravatt, all of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Annette Gray and her mother, Barbara, Dallas; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five brothers, David Cravatt, Ardmore, Jerry Cravatt, Savannah, Ga., Larry Cravatt and wife, Lori, Ada, Tommy Cravatt and his wife, Tammy, Overbrook, and Timothy Cravatt, Sulphur; five sisters, Lucille Loman and her husband, Howard, Irving, Texas, Marilyn Lewis and her husband, Marvin, Ardmore, Norma Ann Wallace and her husband, James, Sulphur, Judy Poolaw and her husband, Flint, Phoenix, Ariz. and Shirley Lewis, Sulphur and numerous nieces and nephews.
