Eules Clyde Carter

Sequoyah Co.,(OK) Times Obituary:
Funeral Services for Eules Clyde Carter 82, of Sulphur, formerly of 
Gore, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, at the Vinita Ave. Church of 
Christ, with Revs. Dan Clark and John Shackelford officiating.  
Burial was in Drake Cemetery, under the direction of Cowley-Krien 
Funeral Home of Sulphur. Mr. Carter was born Oct 18, 1918 in Gore to 
Elpha Carter and Minnie Lafayette Carter.  He died Tue, July 24, 
2001, in Sulphur.  Mr. Carter married Opal Mae Thomison on Dec 23, 
1950, in Little Rock, AR.  Survivors include his wife, Opal Mae of 
the home, one daughter Glenda Kay, four sons, Dwight Richard and his 
wife Jan, David Clyde, Michael Lafayette and his wife Ladonna, and 
William Barry and his wife Linda; 12 grandchildren; 6 great 
grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Carter; 2 sisters, Colleen Anderson 
of Gore and Ellen Gibson of Winslo, AR; and numerous nieces, nephews, 
and friends.  He was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Wayne 
Carter in 1995, one sister, Eula Wilson, 2 brothers Ben and Willard 
Carter and his parents.
