Private graveside funeral services for Evorah Brackett Dooly, 93, of 
Sulphur were held at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka. Mrs. Dooly was the mother 
of Martha Melby of Sulphur.

She was born May 19, 1910, in Sallisaw to Sarah (Moss) and Daniel Brackett 
and died Nov. 3, 2003, at her home. She and Jess L. Dooly were married 
Feb. 16, 1932, at Holdenville, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 
1990. A daughter, Sue Ann Dooly, a brother, two sisters and a 
granddaughter also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Dooly had lived in Sulphur the past 40 years. In addition to her 
daughter, she is survived by a son, a sister, three grandchildren, seven 
great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. Krien Funeral Home 
was in charge of arrangements.
