Finis Steelman officiating. Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home. Christine was born to Joe and Roxie Ellis Ervin June 12, 1911 in Soper. She died November 12 at Burford Manor Nursing Home in Davis. She married D.C. Farr August 12, 1930 in Ardmore. He preceded her in death December 18, 1972. Mrs. Farr grew up in the Woodford area and graduated from Woodford High School. She moved to Davis in 1937 and was an Assistant Librarian at Davis High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church since 1938, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She belonged to Tuesday Study Club, Eastern Star, WMU and Euterpean Music Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Don; grandson, Kenny Turner and brother, Paul Ervin. Survivors are her daughter, Anita Turner and husband, Kenneth, Ada; son, Joe Farr, Ruidoso, N.M.; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and former daughter-in-law, Amanda Sellers, Tulsa.
