William E. Malphrus officiating. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery with Krien Funeral Home of Sulphur in charge of arrangements. Born February 11, 1949 in Plainview, Texas to Lee Warren and Doris Lucille (Jackson) Freeman, he died Tuesday, May 30 in Sulphur. He moved with his family to Sulphur in 1956, but later returned to Texas and graduated from high school in Dumas in 1963. In 1967, he again moved to Sulphur and attended East Central College in Ada. He worked as an insurance agent for Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance in Davis, was an electrician for OG&E and was a Murray County Deputy Reserve for 10 years. In 1988, he purchased the Bowl-A-Rama in Sulphur. He had also been a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard. Water skiing and riding his motorcycle for his favorite pastimes as well as NASCAR and OSU sports. He was a member of the Vinita Avenue Church of Christ in Sulphur. Surviving are his parents, Lee and Doris; one son, Chance Freeman and his wife, Jill, Sulphur; one daughter, Chasta Freeman, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Geneal Frederick and husband, Gayle, Sulphur and Retha McVey and husband, Hal, Golden, Colo. and two grandchildren, Mikayla and Cache Freeman. Pallbearers were Bobby Rose, John Russell, Jimmy McGill, Buster Coppenbarger, Roger McKim and Ed Thompson.
