"Jug" Hucks Services for Clinton E. "Jug" Hucks, 59, were held Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church, Wynnewood, with Brother Randy Chapman officiating. Services were under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home. Mr. Hucks was born July 3, 1944 to Horace and Iva Dell Bannister Hucks in Wynnewood. He died on July 4, 2003 in Norman Regional Hospital. Jug lived his entire life in the Wynnewood and Joy area and graduated from Wynnewood High School. He attended Murray State College and Panhandle A & M. He was employed by the Garvin County Rural District for over thirty years at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife Sharon (Sledd) Hucks, of the home; three sons, Terry (Buck) and his wife, Jeanelle Hucks and Casey Hucks, all of Wynnewood and Shannon Hucks, Oklahoma City; his mother, Iva Dell Hucks Baugh, Wynnewood, one brother, L.J. Hucks, Maysville, one sister, Reta Smith and her husband, Terry, Maysville; two grandchildren, Teri (Sunni) and Ezra, both of Wynnewood. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Lee Hughes and Carol Dean Young; his father, Horace Hucks and step-father, Chris Baugh In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 102454, Atlanta, GA 30368-2454.
