Bob Moody officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home. Born July 12, 1910 in Oelwein, Iowa, he died Monday, Feb. 13 in Sulphur. He married Mildred Stephens on February 9, 1935 in Sulphur. She preceded him in death on April 21, 1999. Mr. Heath grew up in Muskogee where he graduated from high school. He lived in Allen for a period of time, then came to Sulphur working with the Civilian Conservation Corps in the building of structures in Platt National Park. Later he worked with Jack Nowlin Clothiers in Sulphur. He moved to Chicago, Ill., for several years and returned back to Sulphur in 1954. He and his wife owned and operated the Sulphur Greenhouse and Florists for a number of years. He served as secretary of the Murray County Election Board for many years and was active in politics. He was a member of the Sulphur United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Kenneth Heath, Sulphur; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Heath, Sulphur; two grandsons and their wives, Kenneth Heath, Jr. and Angela, Davis and William Obie Heath and Tammy, Sulphur; two granddaughters and eight great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his wife, his parents; a son, Bill E.
