Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Rose Chapel, Gililland-Watson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Grant Hurst, pastor of First Christian Church in Portales, N.M., officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery. Mr. Hudson was born in Davis, Okla. He came to Texas in 1947, moving from Oklahoma. He came to Deaf Smith County in 1972, moving from Randall County. He worked in the track department for Sante Fe Railway. He was a Baptist. He married Madalena McDonald in 1941 at Pauls Valley, Okla. Survivors include his wife; two sons, James Hudson of Seligman, Mo., and Rodger Hudson of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; a daughter, Linda Rierson of Clovis, N.M.; six brothers, E.A. Hudson of Hennepin, Okla., John Hudson of Fayetteville, Ark., W.E. Hudson of Canyon, Carl Hudson of Elmore City, Okla., Gene Hudson and Jack Hudson, both of Davis, Okla.; six sisters, Lora Williams of Davis, Okla., Essie Ball of Elmore, Okla., Ruth Edgar of Pauls Valley, Okla., Betty Jean Little of Oklahoma City, Pattie Quail and Joyce Beavers, both of Sulphur, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Murray County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/murray/murray.htm
