Arrangements are under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home. Born September 17, 1916 in Oil Creek to Arthur Hutchins and Cora Myrtle Dillon Hutchins, he died Monday, Jan. 30 in Sulphur. He married Effie Pritchard on January 25, 1936 in Carter County. He grew up in the Baum, Berwyn and Dickson areas, attending school in Dickson. He was a cattleman, rancher and he attended the Methodist Church. On January 25 of this year, he and his wife had been married 70 years. Surviving are his wife, Effie, of Sulphur; a son and daugher-in-law, Pat and Darlene Hutchins, Wilson; two grandchildren, Craig Hutchins and Cord Hutchins, both of Springer and four great grandchildren, Colton, Arial, Weston and Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his parents.
