Funeral services were Feb. 7 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ardmore with Father Thomas O'Toole and Deacon James Wade officiating. Burial was at Green Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hallin was born Dec. 23, 1954, in Oklahoma City to Katie (Walsh) and Burke Healey. She graduated from Davis High School in 1973 and attended Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma, earning a master's degree in library science administration. She taught school at Davis and Plainview High Schools prior to joining the administration at Ardmore Higher Education Center in July 1992. On Jan. 1, 2002, she was selected director of the Center. She was preceded in death by both parents. She is survived by her husband, Eric Hallin, Davis; four brothers, Burke Healey, Brett Healey and Brian Healey, all of Davis, and Barry Healey, Bentonville, Ark.; five children, Megan Kathleen Todd, Norman, Meredith Kaitlin Todd, Davis, Bryce Todd, Spokane, Wash., and Becky and Cindy Hallin, both of Hartford, Wis. Pallbearers were Burke Healey, Brett Healey, Barry Healey, Bryce Todd and Skip Healey. The family asks that donations be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, 825 NE 13 St., Oklahoma City, OK 73104, in lieu of flowers.
