Services are Wednesday (Feb. 15) at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. James Densman officiating. She will be buried at Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Horn was born Sept. 15, 1913, in Hulbert to Doley Onslo and Dulsie Amanda (Hathcoat) Booker. She attended school in Antlers. She married James Arnold Horn on July 9, 1932, in Oklahoma City, and they made their home there. Later they moved to Lubbock, Texas, and then to Brownsville, Texas. She was employed with Wackers 5 & 10 Variety Stores for many years. After Mr. Horn retired, they moved to Hulbert. When his health began to fail, they moved to Davis in 1981 to be near their daughter. They celebrated 50 years together before his passing in 1983. Mrs. Horn loved the beach and taking care of her grandchildren in the summers. She especially loved having her family together. She enjoyed needle work, word search puzzles and playing Uno. She is survived by three children, James Robert Horn of Oklahoma City, Donald Gene Horn of Cashion and Mary A. Cottrell of Davis, 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son, William Lee Horn, a brother, Robert Bayne, and two sisters, Myrtle Lee Sqyres and Lola Maxine Dulen.
