Services were under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Atoka. Born January 24, 1941 to Luther Burlin and Willie Fay (Lusk) Johnson at Ardmore, he died Wednesday, Oct. 25 at his residence. He attended school at Lone Grove, Graham and Sulphur. He married Betty Ridling in 1960 in Sulphur. He later married Linda Brashear in 1979 at Jefferson, Ga. He worked as a horse trainer, raised donkeys and loved fishing and story telling. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Baptist by faith. Surviving are a loving companion, Mary Dilbeck, Sulphur; four children, Vickie Conner and husband, Michael, Vermont, Joe Johnson, Athens, Ga., Gena Johnson, Sulphur and Christy Rhyne and husband, James, Wardville, Okla.; two grandchildren, Sarah and Henry Rhyne, Wardville; three brothers, Ken Moss and wife, Lorena, Lone Grove, Jerry Johnson and wife, Ruth, Florida and Jay Johnson and wife, June, Lone Grove; one sister, Nona Fay Robinson and husband, Floyd, Dickson plus numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and loved friends.
