Kelly Services for Olan C. Kelly, 79, Davis, were held Friday, Nov. 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Fox Funeral Chapel in Davis with Rev. Thom Balmer and Rev. Willard McCartney Jr. officiating. Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery in Davis under the direction of Fox Funeral Home. Olan was born to Elmer and Rena Dodson Kelly September 15, 1924 in Davis. He died Tuesday, Nov. 11 at his residence. He married Ruby L. Burrows March 1, 1946. She preceded him in death June 22, 2002. Mr. Kelly lived in Davis all his life. He graduated from Davis High School and worked at the Davis Post Office for over 30 years. He served as Postmaster for the last few years before his retirement. He was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church and served in the Air Force during WWII. Preceding him in death were his parents and wife. Survivors are his daughter, Coleen Carroll and her husband, Doyle, Davis; a sister, Nancy Smith, Davis; 12 grandchildren, Chris, Lori, Chad, Jeanna, Tammy, Jeannine, Diane, Rick, Debbie, Craig, Mike and Suzan; 11 great- grandchildren, Heath, Sara, Ashton, Brittni, Ryan, Cheyenne, Jade, Jessi, Jake, Colt and Camryn; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Randy Moore, Charley Rogers, Darin Rogers, Steve Cottrell, Dean Pierce and Mark Carter. Honorary pallbearers were Neil Northcutt, Bob Davenport, Doug Cowley, Bill Roper, Bill Pruitt, Dale Noland and J.C.
