Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born Novemeber 20, 1917 in Coalgate to Guy Sinnett and Ann Sinnett, she died Wednesday, Jan. 26 in Sulphur. She married A.P. Lewis, Jr. in December of 1938 in Ada. She grew up in Ada, graduating from Ada High School and East Central University with an elementary education degree. She taught several years in Garvin and Murray County schools. She taught third grade at Washington Elementary School in Sulphur before retiring. She was a member of the Vinita Avenue Church of Christ and the Murray County Extension Homemakers. She is survived by her husband, A.P. Lews, Jr., of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Earlene Lewis, Stillwater; two grandchildren, Melody Ann Rucker, Edmond and Regan Ray Lewis, Tampa, Fla. and two great grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Rucker and Storm Michael Rucker.
