Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery with Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born July 25, 1931 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Leroy and Lillie (Lemay) Henderson, she died Tuesday, March 1 at Ardmore. She married Wilford J. Lewis in Okemah on October 18, 1947. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2002. She grew up in Texas and moved to Oklahoma at the age of 13. She attended school at Ft. Worth and Okemah. She moved to Davis in 1951 where she was a member and former president of the B&PW club. She was also a member of the Davis Chamber of Commerce and hostess of the Welcome Wagon. She started a care group for parents of retarded children and Day Care for retarded children. She was an active member of the East Main Church of Christ and taught a Bible class for 30 years. She was also a volunteer with the Cross Timbers Hospice for many years. Surviving are a daughter, Wilda Archer and her husband, Randy, Mountain Park; a granddaughter, Amy Hill and her husband, Ward,; a grandson, Will Archer and his wife, Angela; five great grandchildren, Bryce, Maddie, Wyatt, Weston and Abby; a brother, Wilburn Henderson, Sturgis, S.D. and a sister, Shirley Sullivan, Pearland, Texas. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Deborah Turner; a twin brother, Jerry Ray Henderson; three other brothers, J.D., Woodford and Lee Henderson and a sister, Jean Baggs. Pallbearers were Carl Ratchford, Howard Hanni, John Hale, Jim Pratt, Dub Moore, Don Warden and David Campbell.
