Lawrence, Gene

Gene Lawrence, 90, a retired machinist for Lockheed Martin, passed away 
Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, in Glen Rose.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Squaw Creek 
Cemetery.

Mr. Lawrence was born April 6, 1915, in Gainesville to James and Zuma 
Light Lawrence. He married Nona Birdie Williams Feb. 22, 1938, in Sulphur, 
Okla. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Nell Timms.

Survivors: Wife, Nona Lawrence of Glen Rose; son, Ron Lawrence of Deer 
Park; daughter, Pat Jackson of Glen Rose; five grandchildren; and eight 
great-grandchildren.
