Finis Steelman officiating. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery with Hale's Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born April 25, 1925 in Sulphur to Homer and Lily Mae (Davidson) Deel, she died Friday, Aug. 12 at her home. Her husband, Carl Russell Mabry, preceded her in death on July 20, 2004. The couple was married September 15, 1943. She and her husband owned and operated a family dairy in Davis for many years. She also spent many hours doing artwork. She was very proud to be a co-artist to a special painting of Turner Falls that currently hangs in the Davis City Hall. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Masters and Winnie Robbins, both of Davis and Thelma Smith, Paoli. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Rosalee Beck and one brother, Dick Deel.
