Pickens Former Davis resident Clarence C. Pickens, 64, of McLoud died Feb. 9, 2005, at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. The Rev. Willard McCartney Jr. officiated at graveside services Feb. 11 at Green Hill Cemetery in Davis. Krien Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pickens was born July 8, 1940, to Thomas and Bessie (Montgomery) Pickens and grew up in Davis. He moved to Oklahoma City and graduated from Capital Hill High School. He was manager of Country Boy Service Station for a number of years and, at the time of his death, was living in McLoud where he raised horses. He is survived by a brother and four sisters, Lawrence Pickens, Eudora West and Irene Fleming, all of Davis, Mary Tennison of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Bertha Quick of Loco, and a special friend, Terry Pratt.
