Glen Clary officiating. Interment was in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Tecumseh with Krien Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born November 4, 1917 in Tecumseh to Joseph and Sarah (Herren) Price, he died Tuesday, Oct. 31 at the Grace Living Center in Wynnewood. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva M. Roach, in 1993. His family moved to Sulphur from Tecumseh when he was nine where he continued to live until his death. He worked for Dodson Construction Co. for almost 50 years. He raised and trained coon dogs, one of which won the Grand Night Champion award. He was a member of the Coon Hunter's Association. He also enjoyed horse racing, coon hunting and squirrel hunting. Surviving are three sons, Robert Price, Kenneth Price and Charlie Blanton, all of Sulphur; four daughters, Eva Pearl Knighten and Elizabeth McCracken, both of Sulphur, JoAnn Gouch, Davis and Carmen Price, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Louise Price, Florida and Nadine Smith, Eagle Lake, Texas; 14 grand children, 16 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are special nieces who he raised after their mother's death, Carrie Lee and Alice Mae. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy and Hubert Price, Jr.; two brothers, Author Price and Carmen T. Price; four sisters, Mary Glen Price, Edith Pearl Price, Josephine Price and Kathreen Cole. Pallbearers were Mike Armstrong, Jimmy Davis, Sammy Jones, Kevin Scroggins and Arnold Trett. Ralph Dodson and A. K.
